
Kevin Singer: Court Appointed Court Receiver
Kevin Singer began his career as a court receiver because of his experience in real estate, property management, and construction. He is a licensed California real estate broker and a licensed building contractor.
Since 2001, Mr. Singer and his team at Receivership Specialists have handled over 606 cases and managed over $2,500,000,000 in assets. Mr. Singer has served as a receiver, referee, and bankruptcy trustee, for large and small banks, private lenders, private investors and municipalities. The cases over which they have been appointed have included all different types of real estate, businesses, gas stations, hotels, assisted living facilities, restaurants, bars, liquor licenses, family estates/trusts, commodities, and construction projects.
Mr. Singer founded Receivership Specialists with John Rachlin, his long time friend and business partner. Receivership Specialists currently specialize in the following assignments: state and federal court receiverships, referee assignments, partition sales, and chapter 11 bankruptcies. As president of Receivership Specialists, Mr Singer opened offices in multiple locations including: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, Orange County, San Diego, Ventura, Phoenix, Reno, and Las Vegas. Receivership Specialists handles assignments throughout the Southwest.
Mr. Singer is currently President and on the Board of Directors of the California Receivers Forum (CRF), an Associate Publisher for Receivership News, seven time participant and panelist at the CRF in Conjunction with Loyola Law School Receivers Education Program, and a lecturer and writer on various topics in the receivership field.
